Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Hybrid Mink Lash Extensions.

With proper care, a full hybrid set typically lasts two to four weeks before noticeable shedding. We recommend a touch-up every two to three weeks to maintain fullness, depending on your natural lash cycle, lifestyle, and aftercare routine.

When applied by a certified technician using proper isolation and adhesive, hybrids should not damage natural lashes. Damage usually results from poor application, heavy extensions, or skipping aftercare. Follow removal and refill schedules to protect lash health.

Gently cleanse lashes daily with oil-free cleanser, avoid rubbing or pulling, skip waterproof mascara, and sleep on your back when possible. Brush extensions with a spoolie and avoid oil-based products to prolong adhesive bond and overall wear.

Avoid water, steam, and sweating for the first 24–48 hours to allow adhesive cure. After that initial period you can gently wet lashes and resume light cleansing, though avoid heavy steam and oil-based products to protect the bond.

Mascara is generally unnecessary with hybrid extensions. If you choose mascara, use only water-based or extension-safe formulas on the tips, avoiding waterproof types and oil-based removers that break down adhesive and shorten extension lifespan.

A full-set hybrid appointment usually takes 90–120 minutes depending on desired volume and natural lash condition. Initial consultations, mapping, and precision isolation require time to ensure safe, tailored application and long-lasting results.
