Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Hybrid Brows – Initial Session.

Your session begins with a consultation and brow mapping, followed by topical numbing. We create microblading strokes and ombre shading. Expect two to three hours total, color selection, and detailed aftercare instructions plus a recommended touch-up appointment.

Results commonly last between one and three years depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Oily skin or heavy sun exposure can fade pigment faster; periodic touch-ups every 6–18 months help maintain color and definition.

Topical anesthetic is applied to minimize discomfort, and most clients report mild pressure or scraping sensations rather than sharp pain. Sensitivity varies, but the numbing usually keeps the procedure quite tolerable.

Avoid blood-thinning medications, alcohol, and intense exercise 24–48 hours prior. Discontinue retinoids or chemical exfoliants around the brow area for about a week. Come with clean skin and any questions about shape or color ready to discuss.

Keep brows dry and avoid heavy sweating for about 7–10 days, don’t pick scabs, and follow the ointment regimen we provide. Avoid facials, saunas, and direct sun until fully healed. Schedule a 6–8 week touch-up for best longevity.

Yes — oily skin can receive hybrid brows, but pigment may fade faster. We adapt technique and shading ratio for longer retention, and oily-skin clients often require more frequent touch-ups to maintain crisp results.
