Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Shoulders.

Most appointments take 15–30 minutes for shoulders alone, depending on hair density and client comfort. We begin with a quick consult, trim if needed, then perform waxing and finish with soothing aftercare.

Sensation varies but most clients report brief discomfort during hair removal. To minimize pain, avoid caffeine beforehand, arrive relaxed, and discuss numbing or calming options with your technician if desired.

Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid heavy moisturizers or sun exposure 24–48 hours before. Hair should be about a quarter inch long for best results; do not shave prior to your appointment.

Most clients return every 4–8 weeks depending on individual regrowth. Regular waxing often reduces hair density and results in longer intervals between visits as hair grows back finer.

Waxing can lead to ingrown hairs for some people. We recommend gentle exfoliation, targeted topical treatments, and professional extraction when necessary. Discuss your history so we can customize prevention and care.

Active sunburn, open wounds, certain skin conditions, or recent use of retinoids may prevent waxing. Inform your technician about medications and skin concerns so we can advise or perform a patch test.
