Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Ears.

Most clients feel a brief sting during waxing, with tenderness lasting a few hours to a day. We use gentle techniques, cooling compresses, and aftercare to minimize discomfort; over-the-counter analgesics can help if you're especially sensitive.

Expect smooth, hair-free ears for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and individual hormones. Regular waxing can result in finer, sparser regrowth over time for longer intervals between appointments.

We assess skin health before treatment; waxing is generally safe if skin is calm and eczema-free. If you have active flare-ups, infections, or very thin skin, we’ll recommend alternatives or delay service until healed.

Clean, dry skin is ideal—avoid heavy creams, oils or exfoliation on the day of your appointment. Let hair be at least quarter-inch long for best results; arrive with removed earrings and any piercings noted.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming, and heavy sweating for 24 hours. Keep the area clean, apply recommended soothing gel or antibacterial lotion, and skip harsh products or exfoliation for 48 hours to prevent irritation or infection.

We typically ask you to remove jewelry before waxing. For new or healing piercings we advise waiting until fully healed. Sterile technique, single-use spatulas, and antiseptic aftercare protect the area during and after the service.
