Get answers to common questions about Hairline.
Results usually last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles and care. With regular waxing, hair often grows back finer and sparser. Avoid plucking between appointments and follow aftercare to maximize longevity and minimize irritation.
Proper waxing performed by professionals does not permanently damage follicles. Repeated waxing removes hair from the root, which can make regrowth finer and sparser over time, but follicles typically remain healthy. Avoid over-waxing and consult your technician for spacing recommendations.
Some sensitivity is normal, but our experienced estheticians use fast techniques and soothing pre- and post-wax care to minimize pain. Apply a numbing cream if needed, avoid caffeine beforehand, and follow aftercare to reduce inflammation and discomfort.
Ensure hair is at least 1/4 inch long for effective waxing. Avoid exfoliating 48 hours prior and skip retinol or acid treatments for a few days. Clean skin, avoid heavy makeup, and arrive with no recent sunburn for best results.
Apply a soothing, alcohol-free gel or cream and avoid sun exposure, heavy sweating, and makeup on the area for 24 hours. Gently exfoliate after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and keep skin clean and moisturized.
If you use retinoids, retinols, or strong topical acids, stop use at least 5–7 days before waxing to reduce tearing or sensitivity. Consult your skincare provider and inform your esthetician about any recent products for safe service adjustments.
