Get answers to common questions about Lips.
Some mild, brief discomfort is normal, but our technicians use gentle techniques and soothing post-care to minimize irritation. If you have rosacea or extreme sensitivity, we recommend a consultation beforehand to tailor treatment and prevent flare-ups.
Most clients enjoy smooth lips for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular waxing appointments can slow regrowth and make hairs finer, extending the time between treatments.
We recommend waiting at least 12–24 hours before applying lipstick to avoid irritation or infection. Use a gentle, fragrance-free balm if needed and avoid heavy makeup directly on freshly waxed skin.
Come with clean, makeup-free skin and hair about 1/8–1/4 inch long. Avoid retinoids, chemical peels, and heavy exfoliation for 48 hours prior. Inform your technician about sensitivities or medications.
We avoid waxing over active cold sores, sunburn, open wounds, or recent chemical peels. If you are on Accutane or other skin-thinning medications, disclose this during booking for safety guidance.
Avoid heat, heavy exercise, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Apply a soothing, fragrance-free gel or aloe and skip exfoliation and irritating products for a couple of days to promote healing.
